Our newest community, Tiburon Apartments, is located on West Belleview Avenue in Littleton, Colorado. When it completed in 2001, the SKM team quickly leased the units at rents approximately 20% higher than initial pro-forma.

Sound fiscal management and extensive market research have led to our latest success, the planned construction of Monterey Pointe -- a 354-unit, Class A apartment community located on East Colfax Avenue and Sable Boulevard in Aurora, Colorado. Recognizing the limited supply of available land in the Denver area and the incredible potential of the neighboring Fitzsimons redevelopment area, SKM quickly optioned this 30-acre site in Aurora. Originally zoned for office development, SKM obtained rezoning and site approval on this exciting property. SKM has positioned Monterey Pointe to benefit from nearly $4 billion in planned capital spending at the adjacent 500+ acre Fitzsimmons campus, including the projected creation of over 20,000 jobs. Construction plans for Monterey Pointe are completed, subcontractors have been selected, and the Monterey Pointe development is expected to break ground in Summer 2005.
